Marvin H. Greenbaum, MD
Board-Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in general ophthalmology and cataract surgery.
After graduating from the Johns Hopkins University in 1972, Dr. Greenbaum was awarded the prestigious Thomas J. Watson Fellowship for independent study abroad. He graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine in 1979. After a one-year internship in Internal medicine at the Lankenau Hospital, Dr Greenbaum completed a three-year residency in ophthalmology at the Scheie Eye Institute/ University of Pennsylvania in 1983.
Dr. Greenbaum has been in private practice in Bala Cynwyd as a comprehensive ophthalmologist since 1983. He has held the appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at both the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University (Medical College of Pennsylvania) and is on the medical staffs of Lankenau Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania / Presbyterian Medical Center.
His credentials included certification as a Diplomat and Fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Greenbaum has been recognized numerous times as a Philadelphia Magazine “Top Doc” for general ophthalmology and cataract surgery.
